The courses of our Dojo
Welcome to the SEICHUDO Dojo in the heart of Brescia, the teaching you will receive is free.
We are a non-profit sports association and the fees requested from our members are basically used to pay for the space where we practice (dojo), host visiting Japanese Masters and organize seminars that will allow you to travel to Italy by meeting other Kendoists .
The September lessons are completely free, while the rest of the practice year is divided into two months: October-November, December-January, February-March, April-May.
Course for Children and Teens
Tuesday, Friday
7:00pm - 9:00pm
Kendô is ideal for children from the age of 6, it helps them work in groups and socialize with others, at the same time developing concentration and learning skills.
It is a fun sporting activity that harmoniously develops the whole body and promotes the coordination and awareness of one's body.
Through Kendô, children learn the importance of education, mutual respect and order.
Course for Adults - Beginners
Tuesday, Friday
7:00pm - 9:00pm
This course aims to give correct basic and fundamental knowledge to anyone who wants to approach the world of Kendô.
The "step by step" method used by the teachers has the advantage of introducing the beginner one step at a time and without stress to a healthy and long-lasting practice of Kendô, while giving him the tools for constant improvement over time.
Course for Adults - Advanced
Tuesday, Friday
7:00pm - 9:00pm
It represents the next step in the beginners course and aims to improve basic techniques.
The gestural sequences carried out during training, the rhythm and the volume of energy required in practice, represent a real and intense physical and sporting activity.
The habit of "dealing concretely with others" (and until an advanced age, since the non-traumatizing practice of Kendô allows exceptional sporting longevity), appears as a factor controlling one's emotions, the ability to manage difficult situations and to channel aggression.
